Emergency backup dog foster
This form is for those people wishing to become an emergency back up fosterer for RACE Romanian Animal Care Europe. If you have not had a response to your application within 7 days, please email us at raceromanian@gmail.com
Please note we will arrange for a home check to be carried out. It is important the home checker meets all people living in the home. Please don't feel this is in any way unfavourable, but we simply want you to be happy with your foster dog(s) and also don't want to place an unsuitable dog with you when you have been kind enough to offer assistance.
Additional information
The questionnaire is not a test, there are no right or wrong answers! It is our way of learning a little bit more about you, your family and your circumstances so that we can give you the best advice possible.
What we do insist on with fosterers is that the dogs would not be left for more than 4 hours each day without company (or someone at home the majority of the time with puppies).
A secure garden/area or adequate provisions for regular exercise and toilet break for the animal. But most of all what is needed is love patience and understanding.
